Greetings Dr Tlaleng,
I just wanted to extend my sincerest gratitude for my award and invitation to the event last weekend. It was truly phenomenal and inspiring to meet women from different walks of life who have achieved so much! I think this is a great initiative and one that fosters mentorship and networking in women. As a young woman, it was wonderful to gain contacts and advice on the challenging journey of advocacy. I truly hope this endeavour keeps going and growing. Your lecture was eye-opening and informative. The array of activities kept us on our toes and it always felt like a safe space.
Dear Dr Mofokeng and your team of welcoming, caring and facilitating angels and technically skilled people, I want this message to come out to you loud and clear: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a beautifully curated awards event and also for the depth and resonance of your message during the workshop Dr Tlaleng. The opportunity to engage in a physical embodied experience with reproductive health heroes, led by an outstanding “embodiment artist”, was really moving and deeply affected me. Please know how much your work, your intellect and your commitment means. Thank you for the beautiful gifts, the beautiful photographs, the beautiful gifts, and the beautiful sustaining memories. I am honoured to be in the company of Giants!
